Seyani Brothers & Company Limited is one of the leading Civil Engineering and General Building Construction companies in the East African region, recognized for its long-standing commitment to quality, innovation, and reliability. Since its establishment in 1978 in Nairobi, Kenya, the company has steadily grown from a locally focused enterprise into a respected regional contractor, delivering a wide range of infrastructure and building projects. Over the years, Seyani Brothers has built a strong reputation for technical expertise, professional management, and the successful execution of complex civil works and general construction assignments across diverse sectors.
Driven by a vision to expand its footprint and better serve the growing demands of the region, the company extended its operations to Kampala, Uganda in 1991. This strategic expansion marked an important milestone, enabling the organization to strengthen its presence in East Africa and contribute to major development initiatives beyond Kenya. In 2001, Seyani Brothers & Co. (U) Ltd was formally separated to further develop and consolidate the family business, allowing each entity to focus on growth opportunities within its respective market while upholding the shared values, standards, and legacy that have defined the Seyani name for decades.
Our Growth
After 2001, Seyani Brothers & Co. (U) Ltd continued to pursue a deliberate strategy of regional expansion, broadening its footprint across East Africa in response to increasing demand for high-quality construction and civil engineering services. As part of this growth, the company extended its operations into Kenya under the name Parbat Siyani Construction Ltd., strengthening its presence in a market that had long been central to the group’s history. This move enabled the organization to leverage its accumulated technical expertise, experienced workforce, and established reputation to undertake projects within Kenya’s dynamic and competitive construction environment.
At the end of 2005, the company further expanded into Rwanda through the establishment of Seyani Brothers & Co. (R) Ltd. This expansion marked another significant milestone, positioning the group to participate in Rwanda’s rapidly developing infrastructure and building sector. Recognizing the fast growth and emerging opportunities within Tanzania’s construction industry, Seyani Brothers & Co. (U) Ltd established Seyani Brothers & Co. (T) Ltd in 2007. The formation of the Tanzanian branch reflected the group’s forward-looking vision and commitment to contributing to infrastructure development across the wider East African region.
